Cardi B is officially adding another little one to her family. The Grammy-winning rapper revealed Wednesday on CBS Mornings that she is pregnant with her fourth child, confirming swirling speculation that’s followed her for weeks.

The father is New England Patriots wide receiver Stefon Diggs, who has been linked to Cardi in recent months. The pair are expecting the baby ahead of the rapper’s first arena trek, the Little Miss Drama tour, scheduled to launch in February.

“I feel like I’m in a good space,” Cardi said. “I feel very strong, very powerful, because I’m doing all this work while I’m creating a baby. Me and my man, we’re very supportive of each other.”

Finding Strength in Love

Cardi said her relationship with Diggs has been a grounding force while she juggles career pressures and parenthood. She described Diggs as someone who not only understands ambition but also gives her a sense of stability she’s leaned on through the ups and downs of music.

“He just makes me feel safe and very confident,” she explained. “Two weeks ago I was literally having a panic attack because I was nervous about the album rollout… But he calms me down.”

The rapper admitted that harsh criticism sometimes makes her hesitate to release music, but Diggs’ support helps her push forward.

A New Chapter After Heartbreak

This pregnancy also marks a personal turning point. Cardi shares three children with her ex-husband, rapper Offset, and their high-profile split made her cautious about love. She revealed Diggs reassured her during those early days, telling her: “Let me heal you. Give me a chance to heal you.”

Now, she jokes that fans need to buy her album to help cover baby expenses. “Y’all could buy my album so I can buy Pampers and diapers,” she quipped. “I told you. I’m a mother of four now.”

The Album and the Tour

Beyond the baby news, Cardi is gearing up for the release of her long-awaited sophomore album, Am I The Drama?, out Sept. 19. The project includes a track called “Safe,” a nod to how her relationship has influenced her creatively.

“I feel like it touches everything I wanted to touch,” she said. “It’s something that isn’t out there right now.”

The rapper also admitted she held back the pregnancy announcement until she closed some business deals, and confessed she hasn’t told her parents yet, joking that she’s “scared of them.”

Fans will see more of Cardi’s candid reflections, including her recent trial and viral album rollout antics, in her extended CBS Mornings interview airing Sept. 18.
