Drag Race star Jade Jolie has come out as transgender!
Jade Jolie first won viewers’ hearts when she appeared on season five of RuPaul’s Drag Race, finishing in eighth place. She then starred in season four of The Boulet Brothers’ Dragula and is known for her Taylor Swift impersonations.
She even starred in Taylor Swift’s 2019 music video for her LGBTQ+ anthem, “You Need to Calm Down,” which has been viewed more than 320 million times.
Jade Jolie Comes Out
In a new tweet shared online, Jolie came out as trans to her 85 thousand followers online. “Deciding to choose myself and move forward with my transition,” she wrote.
“Thank you to everyone for the immense amount of love & support I’ve received,” Jolie wrote in a recent Instagram story. “My heart is so full from all the kindness & so incredibly excited to become the best version of myself.”
Other Queens Who Came Out
In the history of Drag Race, Jolie is not the first transgender queen.
In Season Nine, Peppermint blazed a trail as the inaugural transgender woman competitor, while Season Thirteen introduced Gottmik as the first transgender man on the show. Kylie Sonique Love made history by clinching the All Stars 6 title, becoming the first trans winner. Season 14 marked another milestone with five transgender contestants, including the beloved Kornbread and eventual victor Willow Pill.
Pitch Perfect star Rebel Wilson will tell all in her new memoir, Rebel Rising.
In an interview with People, Rebel Wilson shared that her book will unveil all her “life’s deepest secrets,” a prospect she finds “somewhat daunting.”
Apart from dishing out her Hollywood anecdotes, potentially involving Brad Pitt and her Pitch Perfect co-stars, Wilson will delve into the lesser-known aspects of her life.
“That was my first hurdle that I had to overcome,” she said. “I know a lot of people think I’m exactly like my characters like Fat Amy … but then there are just other sides.”
For example, Wilson said most people are shocked to find out she has a law degree and lived in Africa for a year.
The 43-year-old will also delve into deeper emotional themes.
“There’s a lot of stories and personal stuff that I’ve never ever talked about. The book is this forum because it’s me just sitting down telling my own story, and that was the right forum for some of these more emotional things.
Since being forced to come out last summer, Wilson announced her engagement to Ramona Agruma in February. She also unveiled plans for a new dating app, began filming her inaugural directorial feature, and joyously welcomed her first child via surrogate last autumn.
At first, Wilson had a hard time finding the right voice for her memoir. However, she eventually found success by imagining she was talking to a dear friend and by revisiting her old diaries.
“It was crazy to see my mindset and to see where I was at at those different ages, like 16 or 23, or getting rejected from all these drama schools and just being completely rejected, being an actor, and then thinking, ‘Oh, is this really what I should be doing with my life?’ To have those original letters and diary entries — interesting to go back and remember.”
Omar Apollo’s latest EP, Live For Me, is available for purchase, and each copy includes an explicit photo.
Queer artist Omar Apollo’s EP, Live For Me, dropped on October 6 alongside a music video for the title track. Leading up to the release, the 26-year-old teased his fans online by sharing a sneak peek of the album’s artwork.
Created by LGBTQ+ artist Doron Langberg, the cover paints Apollo lying down with his hand over his chest. However, it’s the back of the vinyl that really has fans buzzing.
Ironically, the rear side is actually a display of the front, featuring Apollo’s thighs and a prominently pixelated image in between.
“Live For Me Vinyl on sale tomorrow 8:30am pst! uncensored back cover portrait available with purchase,” he wrote alongside an eggplant and secret emoji.
Now, Apollo is not shy about thirst-trapping his fans, but nothing could have prepared them for a nude vinyl. Check out some of their thirsty reactions below.
The EP is available now and features four new tracks, “Ice Slippin,” “Live For Me,” “Angel,” and “Pilot.” According to the artist, his song “Ice Slippin'” is about him almost getting into a car accident on an icy road after coming out to his parents.
In an interview with NPR, the “Evergreen” singer said he used to try to be mysterious, but now he publicly identifies as “very gay.”
“I don’t really care. I feel like in the beginning, I was trying to be mysterious and stuff, but now I’m just like — I’m very gay, so I’m just like, whatever. It’s funny, every time I’m doing an interview, they’re like, ‘You don’t like to…’ I’m like, ‘D***, do I really come off like that?’ But no, I’m totally about it. Maybe I was trying to keep the mystique, you understand? But I don’t even care anymore.”
Beverly Hills, 90210 actor Brian Austin Green said he finds raising his son Kassius “fascinating” and hopes to encourage others to not push their opinions on others.
The historical drama will showcase the messy and forbidden romance between Jonathan Bailey’s Tim and Matt Bomer’s Hawkins over the course of four decades.

It’s time! Heartstopper season three is officially in production.
Hi, Heartstopper fans! Can you believe it’s almost time to say “hi” to a new season? Again? In a new post from Netflix, the brilliant Alice Oseman confirms filming for season three, all while wielding the cutest clapperboard you ever did see – bedazzled in rainbows! And guess what? There’s a delightful new doodle of our beloved duo, Nick and Charlie, too!
The image also revealed a new director joining the Heartstopper team: Andy Newbery (Hidden).
While Netflix has not released further details about the season, we have a few guesses. We will likely see all of our favorite leads rejoin the series – such as Joe Locke as Charlie, Kit Connor as Nick, Yasmin Finney as Elle, William Gao as Tao, Corinna Brown as Tara, Kizzy Edgell as Darcy and Tobie Donovan as Isaac.
Other characters who are likely to return are Jenny Walser as Tori, Cormac Hyde-Corrin as Harry, Rhea Norwood as Imogen, Fisayo Akinade as Nathan, Chetna Pandya as Coach Singh, Bradley Riches as James and, of course, Olivia Colman as Nick’s mother. Season two also saw Jack Barton as David, Leila Khan as Sahar, Nima Taleghani as Youssef, Bel Priestly as Naomi and Ash Self as Felix. They will also likely be back for the new season.
Say Goodbye to Ben
The one character who will not be returning is Ben (played by Sebastian Croft), AKA Charlie’s abusive “ex.” In the season two finale, Charlie boldly confronts Ben, giving fans the long-awaited closure they craved. Charlie, finally asserting himself, lays bare the profound hurt Ben inflicted during their relationship. Fortunately, there are glimpses of remorse from Ben.
Sebastian Croft as Ben Hope
Ultimately, the actor and writer decided it was unfair to give Ben a proper redemption arc. “Particularly as the aftershocks of Ben’s manipulation are still causing Charlie pain, Ben can become a better person, but Charlie should not have to witness that, endorse it, or offer any forgiveness. And so he won’t,” Oseman told Tudum.
Based on previous timelines, season three will likely premiere towards the end of 2024. For a sneak peek into what fans can expect from the season, you can read Oseman’s graphic novel by the same title.
Season one and two of Heartstopper are streaming now on Netflix.

Dylan Mulvaney is an actress, singer, comedian, content creator, and strong transgender advocate. She rose to stardom for her popular series, “Days of Girlhood,” which documents her transition. Since launching last year, “Days of Girlhood” has broken boundaries on TikTok and has continued to spread joy and inspiration to the LGBTQ+ community.
However, Mulvaney’s advocacy goes far beyond sharing daily updates on social media. Last September, they were invited to speak with President Joe Biden about the current state of trans rights in the United States. “I try not to let the Internet’s words hurt me or my spirit, but do you know what does hurt?” she said. “Seeing people in power and authority figures creating laws and bills that are actively trying to harm us trans humans, especially trans children.”
She has consistently stood as a steadfast ally and dedicated contributor to The Trevor Project. In March, she orchestrated a remarkable fundraising effort during her Day 365 Live! extravaganza, amassing nearly $200,000. This extraordinary event, a one-night-only cabaret performance held at New York’s legendary Rainbow Room, served as the crowning achievement of her “Days of Girlhood” series. The live-streamed spectacle captivated millions of fans worldwide, and every dollar generated during this occasion was dedicated to advancing The Trevor Project’s critical mission to combat LGBTQ youth suicide.
Dylan Mulvaney Accepts Award
Mulvaney joins past award recipients Janelle Monáe and Lil Nas X, who use their platforms to challenge the status quo and create a safer, more inclusive world for LGBTQ young people to thrive as their authentic selves.
“I am deeply honored to accept The Trevor Project’s Suicide Prevention Advocate of the Year award,” said Dylan. “Trevor’s life-saving work holds a special place in my heart because it represents a lifeline for so many who are struggling with their identity and may not feel accepted as their authentic self. To anyone feeling lost or scared, I want you to know that you are so incredibly loved and there is light after the moments of darkness. Always remember that you are never alone, you are perfect just the way you are, and organizations like The Trevor Project are here to provide a safe space to talk whenever you need, 24/7.
“I am so proud to be a part of such a strong and beautiful community that fights tirelessly for a brighter, more inclusive future, and this award stands for all of us. Let’s continue to work together to uplift and empower LGBTQ young people and create a world where no young person ever feels that hope is out of reach.”
“In a world where LGBTQ young people too often face adversity and discrimination, Dylan Mulvaney stands as a source of light and hope, reminding us that there is strength in unity and power in vulnerability,” said Kevin Wong, Senior Vice President of Marketing, Communications, and Content.“Through her ongoing advocacy work and unapologetic celebration of their trans identity, Dylan is an exemplary possibility model for LGBTQ young people to envision a world for themselves where they can be happy, successful, and thrive openly and authentically.”
