Disney hinted at the trailer’s debut in a tweet that revealed the theatrical poster for Dumbo. Although the original teaser poster simply featured a silhouette of Dumbo, the theatrical poster gives fans a glimpse at various characters featured in the film. The characters are seen celebrating in front of a big top backdrop while Dumbo soars overhead.

The live-action adaptation stars Colin Farrell as former carnival centerpiece Holt Farrier. Holt and his children Milly (Nico Parker) and Joe (Finley Hobbins) are recruited by circus owner Max Medici (Danny DeVito) to care for a baby elephant. Once the circus realizes that Dumbo can fly, he becomes the main attraction.

Dumbo is one of many live-action adaptations of animated classics that Disney has in production. In addition to Dumbo, 2019 will also see the release of The Lion King and Aladdin in theaters, while Lady and the Tramp will debut on Disney’s upcoming streaming service, Disney+. The sequel to Maleficent and a live-action Mulan will hit theaters in 2020.

Dumbo is set to soar into theaters on March 29, 2019.
