Trisha Paytas is heading back to Broadway, and this time, it’s showtime.
The 37-year-old internet personality and entertainer has officially joined the cast of Beetlejuice: The Musical for a special limited three-week engagement. Paytas will take on the role of Maxine Dean, bringing her flair and fan-favorite energy to the stage from Tuesday, Nov. 4 through Sunday, Nov. 24.
The announcement was made Friday morning, marking an exciting moment not only for fans of the musical but also for Paytas, who has long expressed her love of theater. Taking to Instagram, she shared an emotional message about what this opportunity means to her.
“Words can never express my gratitude in this very moment,” she wrote. “How lucky am I? Beetlejuice: The Musical has been so near and dear to my heart.”

Paytas, who has built a massive following over the years as a YouTuber, singer and internet icon, has frequently celebrated musical theater and pop culture through her content. Her connection to Broadway dates back to childhood, when she found escape and inspiration in the magic of live performance.
“Broadway and live theatre have always been my escape since a young girl,” she continued in her post. “I so wanted to be a part of the stories with sequined costumes, catchy music, and endings to everyone’s story perfectly wrapped in a bow. I can’t wait to play. The talent in this show is unreal (I saw them on tour last year in OC). I know how lucky I am.”
Her post concluded with a heartfelt thank-you to longtime supporters and a nod to the show’s iconic catchphrase: “Beetlejuice the musical is so, so special to me and [I’m] completely honored to get to share in the experience together. IT’S SHOWTIME!!!! 💜💚”
Paytas is stepping into a role typically performed by Sharone Sayegh, who currently plays Juno and will return to the dual role of Maxine Dean/Juno after Paytas’ limited run concludes on Monday, Nov. 25.

This marks Paytas’ second Broadway appearance. Earlier this year, she made her official Broadway debut in Trisha Paytas’ Big Broadway Dream, a one-night-only event that showcased her love for musical theater and storytelling through a uniquely personal lens.
Beetlejuice: The Musical returned to Broadway on Oct. 8 for a special 13-week resurrection engagement that will run through Jan. 3, 2026. The show, based on Tim Burton’s 1988 cult-classic film, has become a fan favorite since its original Broadway debut in 2019, beloved for its outrageous humor, gothic flair, and inclusive spirit.
The role of Maxine Dean, while a supporting character, is a memorable one, especially when brought to life in the musical’s campy, over-the-top style, a perfect match for Paytas’ bold stage presence.
Tickets for Beetlejuice: The Musical are currently on sale and expected to sell quickly during Paytas’ run. Fans of both the show and the multi-talented star will not want to miss this limited opportunity to see her take on Broadway once again.
Whether you’re a longtime Paytas follower, a musical theater fan, or just love a little spooky camp with your stage experience, this run promises to be unforgettable.
