In this exclusive 16 minute interview, Archuleta spoke with editor Caitlynn McDaniel about coming out as queer, his time on the ‘Masked Singer,’ and how his journey inspired his new era of music.

Archuleta was raised a devout member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and because of that, he struggled with depression and accepting his sexuality.

In 2021, David publicly came out as queer and shortly after stepped away from the Church.
