Never Have I Ever’ is a coming-of-age comedy about the complicated life of a modern-day first-generation Indian American teenage girl. Here Poorna shares that through playing her character Nalini, she’s learned that the real job of a parent is to “give a sense of belonging to your child and nothing else.”
