Did you know there were female pirates and some of them may have even been romantically involved with each other? Dr. Rebecca Simon is a historian of piracy from the 17th and 18th century and has a PhD public executions of pirates.

She is currently studying the fascinating history of female pirates, specifically Anne Bonny and Mary Read.
