Because confidence is the hottest thing you can wear.
If you’re like me, the world of fashion influencers never seemed to include you. For gay men, there’s a very specific set of attributes you’re expected to have to fit in. Most of us don’t. So why is it that an industry built around something we all participate in feels so exclusive?
Growing up, the only times I saw myself represented in fashion were in the before-and-after photos. You can probably guess which one I was. I tried to follow the rules. I picked clothes that hid my “problem areas” and helped me fade into the background. Anything to avoid standing out—or worse, enjoying how I looked.
Thankfully, things have changed. We’re in a new era of fashion influencing, one that celebrates individuality over conformity. If you look closely, you’ll find creators of every shape, size, and style showing that bodies aren’t meant to be hidden. They’re meant to be celebrated. Every single one.
Meet the Line-Up
I’ve curated a list of creators and tastemakers who fit that bill in their own ways. Some approach fashion through the lens of body positivity. Others champion sustainability or challenge long-held ideas about masculinity and femininity. Many question the outdated “rules” we grew up with—like those laid out in What Not to Wear—and instead show that style has no single definition. Then, some help us rediscover the joy of dressing up again. They remind us that fashion doesn’t have to be about impressing anyone or hiding anything. It can just be fun.
So, without further ado, meet this new age of men’s fashion influencers. It’s time to get dressed—and maybe a little undressed.
Arthur Mayolo
A body-positive bear from Brazil whose style alone could rewire your self-image. Watching Arthur pull on a beach fit with quiet confidence will make you question why you’ve spent so long demanding your body fit a mould. Between his aerial silk practice and active beach lifestyle, he’s living proof that strength and movement don’t belong to any one body type. Follow Arthur on Instagram and TikTok for more.
Jordan Bantista
Change in fashion won’t come from bigger bodies alone. Jordan might look like he stepped straight out of a fashion editorial, but his content is refreshingly grounded. His styling embraces softness and fluidity, blending traditionally feminine details with everyday wear in a way that feels effortless. Whether he’s adjusting fits for comfort, tailoring thrifted finds, or reimagining proportions to suit his body, Jordan reminds you that confidence comes from understanding what feels good on you and wearing it unapologetically. He’s also an avid swimmer — y’know, if you’re into Speedos. Follow Jordan on Instagram and TikTok for more.
Kyle Pretzlaff
Kyle’s feed is what happens when confidence meets comfort. His style is effortless—sweats, tanks, denim that fit like they were made for him—and his presence feels just as unforced. As an openly asexual creator, Kyle’s approach to fashion sidesteps performance altogether. When I first happened upon his page, fashion all of a sudden felt accessible to me in a way it simply hadn’t before. Follow Kyle on Instagram and TikTok for more.
Luke Wesley Pearson
Preppy, sartorial, and casual-chic, Luke’s style is proof that tailoring can be both powerful and personal. At 5’5″, he’s spent years refining what works for his frame, turning fit challenges into signature looks. His clean, confident approach feels timeless without ever being stiff. As a trans man and model, Luke is redefining what representation in menswear looks like by showing that great style isn’t about blending in, it’s about being seen. Mars Elliot Wright
Mars Wright is what happens when activism, art, and a good ass shake meet. The self-taught artist from Joshua Tree built Life on Mars to fuse masculine streetwear with tenderness and defiance—radical art you can wear. His work spans murals, textiles, and guerrilla installations, all celebrating trans joy and vulnerability as acts of rebellion. And while his…ahem, assets…have gone viral more than once, it’s his confidence, movement, and playfulness that make him impossible to look away from. Follow Mars on Instagram and TikTok for more.
POSH HEAT
Created by Nikhil Kapoor during lockdown, POSH HEAT began as an experiment in what it means to look—and feel—posh when the world tells you it’s not for you. Drawing from his own experience of dressing up to emulate luxury, Nikhil built a brand that redefines refinement as something anyone can access. His designs balance masculinity and femininity with intention, showing that softness and strength can share the same outfit. POSH HEAT isn’t about chasing status—it’s about reclaiming style as self-expression for every body. Follow Nikhil on Instagram and TikTok for more.
Theophilus Taiw Aladejebi
If you can watch an afternoon of Tai’s videos without feeling inspired to reinvent your entire wardrobe, you’re not paying attention. His clean, curated looks, satisfying edits, and spot-on recreations are exactly what you need when your closet starts to feel stale. And despite his elevated sense of style (and yes, the obvious attractiveness), Tai’s down-to-earth approach makes fashion feel genuinely accessible. Follow Tai on Instagram and TikTok for more.
Thomas Larcombe
If you’ve been searching for someone who has the style, the talent, the body, and the niche interests, look no further than Thomas. With a love of fashion history and design, ‘90s cinema, Lara Croft, classic art, and a good gym session, Thomas Larcombe is all that—and in a kilt, no less. Few creators make you appreciate your own body as a work of art quite like he does. And no…he’s not wearing anything under there.
