GMMTV 2027 Lineup: Off and Gun, Krist and Singto Among 35 New Series

GMMTV’s 2027 lineup has 35 series, from Off Jumpol and Gun Atthaphan’s ‘Saran Wants You!’ to Krist and Singto’s ghost story ‘Your Eyes, My Ears.’

Thirty-five series. That’s the size of GMMTV’s 2027 lineup, according to Spring News, which covered the studio’s “GMMTVNEXT: Generation Happy” showcase at Union Hall in Bangkok’s Union Mall on Tuesday, Nov. 3. Off Jumpol and Gun Atthaphan get “Saran Wants You!,” and GMMTV’s Thai-language press release calls them “the red-hot duo” who will “bring color and fun through a wildly chaotic story.”

The release went up Nov. 5. It has a cast for every title and a synopsis for most, and not one platform or premiere date. (Quotes from it here are Gayety’s translations from the Thai.) Krist Perawat and Singto Prachaya top the cast of “Your Eyes, My Ears,” a supernatural story about two people with different gifts: “one can see ghosts, while the other can hear the voices of spirits.”

GMMTV announced in April 2024 that the pair would reunite for a boys’ love series, ABS-CBN News reported. This time, their ghost story leads to “an unexpected relationship,” the release says.

‘A Season to Remember’ Gives GMMTV Three Couples at Once

“A Season to Remember” follows three siblings from one family “who must face love in ways no one saw coming,” according to GMMTV. Spring News listed its pairs as Earth Pirapat and Mix Sahaphap, Boun Noppanut and Prem Warut, and First Kanaphan and Khaotung Thanawat.

The story unfolds “through three couples, three kinds of relationships,” the release says.

‘The HALO,’ ‘Boys 4 Moms’ and More 2027 Pairings

“The HALO” centers on “four angels cursed to live under a cruel fate” who meet four humans, per the release. Its four pairs are Gemini Norawit and Fourth Nattawat, Pond Naravit and Phuwin Tangsakyuen, Perth Tanapon and Santa Pongsapak, and William Jakrapatr and Est Supha, Spring News reported.

Their meeting isn’t only a love story, the release says, but “the key to freeing the angels from the curse.”

Tay Tawan and New Thitipoom top the 12-name cast of “Boys 4 Moms,” which also includes Force Jiratchapong, Book Kasidet, Jimmy Jitaraphol and Sea Tawinan. GMMTV pitches it as “the fun of a big family,” with actors from “many generations.”

“Stalemate” turns business into a chess match between rivals who are, in the release’s words, “enemies in public, lovers in private.” “Fake Boss, Real Boyfriend” is a rom-com about a naive young security guard who suddenly ends up running the company. “Above Her Class,” which GMMTV calls a teen love series about growing up, follows “two young women with different family backgrounds and dreams” on “a mission to become flight attendants.” And in “Our Melodies,” music “may change two people’s hearts and relationship forever,” GMMTV says.

A Love Story Between Two Women in ‘Kiss Me, Stranger’

GMMTV describes “Kiss Me, Stranger” as “a love story between two young women who each have their own life path and world.” Bangkok Biz News reported that the slate mixes Y series, the Thai term for boys’ love, with sapphic series.

GMMTV’s 2027 series will land in a country where same-sex couples have been able to marry since Jan. 23, 2025, when Thailand’s marriage equality law took effect.

Thai ‘Dear Evan Hansen,’ Remakes and Wabi-Sabi Joining GMMTV

“Dear Evan Hansen Thailand,” with William Jakrapatr in the lead, is “a Thai-language version of the Broadway musical,” made with The Showhopper, GMMTV says. Ben Platt and Noah Galvin both starred in its Broadway production.

Of the two Korean dramas getting Thai versions, “Itaewon Class” will “reinterpret the story in the context of Thai society,” the release says, and “Shooting Stars” is the other. “Pie and the 7 Witches,” from Miki Yoshikawa’s manga “Yamada-kun and the Seven Witches,” is “a chaotic story of two people swapping bodies,” with Fourth Nattawat first in the cast.

The cast of “HiGH & LOW Born to be High,” a co-production of HI-AX, GMMTV and Parbdee Tawesuk, runs to 24 names, including Off Jumpol, Tay Tawan and Win Metawin. It adapts “the hit Japanese action series” into “a Thai version,” GMMTV says.

The studio is also “welcoming Wabi-Sabi into the GMMTV family,” a move the release ties to expanding its production capacity.
