This Halloween, a day Christina Aguilera has always hailed as her ‘favorite day of the year,’ sees the pop legend channeling another music industry icon: Cher!
On Instagram, she explained, ‘It’s only right to turn back time and tribute the OG trailblazer.’ It’s a nostalgic homage to their 2010 collaboration in the camp classic Burlesque, where they played the roles of Alli and Tess, a cherished moment that Aguilera still holds dear.
“Cher’s message through her music and style has left a permanent mark on the world and to this day, I still can’t believe I had the opportunity to work with such a legend!!!!”

In the posts shared to Instagram on the Eve of Halloween, Aguilera is rocking a black leather corset with silver chains and fishnet tights. She also has Cher’s signature smokey eye and a curly black wig, completing the homage to Cher’s 1992 Love Hurts tour outfit.
“Tess & Ali 4EVER,” she wrote. We are in tears.
