Fans who missed The Vampire Lestat: One Night Only LIVE won’t have to wait much longer to experience the rock spectacle.

AMC Global Media announced that the sold-out performance, staged at New York City’s Beacon Theatre to celebrate the premiere of The Vampire Lestat, will begin streaming exclusively on AMC+ on Aug. 23. The one-night event featured series star Sam Reid performing original songs from the series, bringing Lestat’s larger-than-life rock persona from the screen to the stage.

The performance quickly became one of the franchise’s most talked-about fan events, filling the historic venue with viewers eager to see the immortal rock star come to life in concert form.

Comic-Con Fans Get An Early Look

Before the full concert lands on AMC+, San Diego Comic-Con attendees will get an exclusive preview.

Highlights from The Vampire Lestat: One Night Only LIVE will screen during Hall H programming on Friday, July 24. Following the presentation, cast members and executive producers will take the stage for a panel discussion reflecting on the show’s explosive first season, which concludes with its season finale on Sunday, July 19, on AMC and AMC+.

The Hall H appearance marks the first time the cast and producers of The Vampire Lestat will appear together on Comic-Con’s biggest stage, giving fans a chance to revisit the season and hear behind-the-scenes stories following its finale.

Sam Reid Brings Rockstar Lestat To Life

The live event centered on Sam Reid’s performance as Lestat, backed by music composed specifically for the series by Daniel Hart.

Rather than simply serving as a promotional concert, the production expanded on the show’s premise, allowing audiences to experience Lestat’s fictional tour in a live setting. Fans packed the Beacon Theatre to hear songs featured in the series performed onstage, blurring the line between television and concert.

The streaming special gives viewers who couldn’t attend the New York event an opportunity to experience the production from home.

The Vampire Lestat Has Been A Critical Hit

The series has quickly become another success for AMC’s Anne Rice Immortal Universe.

At the time of the announcement, The Vampire Lestat holds a Certified Fresh designation on Rotten Tomatoes with a perfect 100% critics score.

The series follows Lestat (Reid) as he embarks on an electrifying multi-city concert tour while being haunted by “muses” from his rebellious past. As his fame grows, so does his influence over both vampires and humans. At the same time, others struggle to contain his rising power amid the Great Conversion, an unnatural surge in the global vampire population.

The series builds on the mythology established in Interview with the Vampire, expanding Anne Rice’s supernatural world while placing Lestat firmly in the spotlight as both a performer and an immortal icon.
