The singer proposed beside a stunning, crystal-blue ocean backdrop.
That’s right! Hayley Kiyoko (AKA Lesbian Jesus) has officially popped the question — and Bachelor alum Becca Tilley said yes. The couple shared the news on Instagram with a swoon-worthy carousel of photos from the intimate proposal — and yes, we’re absolutely sobbing! “My dream girl said yes to forever…” Kiyoko captioned the moment.
The photos show the “For the Girls” singer down on one knee before she slips the Ring Concierge diamond onto her FIANCÉE’s finger.
“My girls! I love yall so much and cannot wait to see this beautiful next chapter unfold for the two of you!!” wrote Bachelor bestie Joelle Fletcher. And the celebratory messages did not end there. Taylor Lautner, Dove Cameron, Brooke Eden, Tan France and so many more also rushed to the comment section to send their well wishes.

A Look Back at Their Love Story
The happy couple were first introduced at Kiyoko’s Expectations album release party in April 2018. However, they didn’t go public with their relationship until 2022.
The “hard launch” came about on Instagram when Kiyoko once again shared an emotional roundup of photos from their last four years together. “This photo is from the first night we met at my Expectations album release party, we took this picture after 5 minutes. Her shirt said ‘no time for romance’….. it’s been four years. I guess she had some time.” You can see why we are obsessed.
On Tilley’s podcast, Scrubbing In with Becca Tilley and Tanya Rad, she said the two were never secretive about their relationship, just private. “I’ve always said, ‘We can go public if I can be in one of your videos,’” Tilley added. So that’s what they did. She starred in Kiyoko’s “For the Girls” music video, featuring a special Bachelorette-twist.
Tilley first rose to fame as a contestant on Seasons 19 and 20 of The Bachelor—but it’s Kiyoko’s final rose she’s ready to accept.
Kiyoko, affectionately dubbed “Lesbian Jesus” by fans, is also making waves behind the camera. She recently announced her directorial debut with Girls Like Girls, a Focus Features film inspired by her breakout song and music video of the same name. Starring Maya da Costa (Under the Bridge) and Myra Molloy (He’s All That), the film “tells the universal story of falling in love for the first time and learning to accept yourself along the way.”
