Fresh off her win on RuPaul’s Drag Race All Stars Season 10, Ginger Minj is casting her biggest spell yet. The beloved queen announced an expansion of her wildly popular theatrical drag extravaganza, Hokus Pokus Live!, adding 11 new stops to the North American tour. Originally slated for 22 cities, the tour will now hit 33 cities in total, running through October 26.
The magical production, inspired by Disney’s cult-classic Hocus Pocus, features an all-star cast including Ginger Minj, Sapphira Cristál, Jujubee, and Landon Cider. Written, directed, and co-produced by Minj herself, Hokus Pokus Live! is being billed as her most ambitious theatrical project to date.
From Spellbinding Concept to Full-Blown Tour
Minj, known for her powerhouse vocals, razor-sharp wit, and theatrical flair, drew inspiration for the show from none other than Bette Midler herself. The two met while filming Hocus Pocus 2, and Midler offered Ginger a piece of advice that would soon become the foundation of the entire project.
“I just really love the way that you do me,” Midler told Minj on set. “I would like to see you take this and run with it and turn it into something.”
And run with it she did.
What began as a limited theatrical experience has evolved into a full-fledged production, drawing sell-out crowds and rave reviews. Now in its third iteration, Hokus Pokus Live! continues to evolve, this time with new songs, fresh storylines, and dynamic energy brought by the rotating cast of drag royalty.

A Star-Studded Cast of Drag Icons
The cast of Hokus Pokus Live! is nothing short of iconic.
- Ginger Minj, affectionately known as “The Glamour Toad,” is no stranger to the stage. After competing in multiple seasons of RuPaul’s Drag Race, her recent win on All Stars Season 10 cemented her legacy as one of the franchise’s most enduring talents.
- Jujubee, a fan-favorite from several iterations of Drag Race, brings her signature sass, soulful vocals, and comedic timing to the production. She recently wowed audiences in the off-Broadway hit DRAG: The Musical.
- Sapphira Cristál, the operatic powerhouse and Season 16 runner-up, infuses the show with vocal magic and theatrical presence that elevates the production to another level.
- Landon Cider, the trailblazing winner of Dragula Season 3, represents the drag king community with boundary-pushing artistry and bold performances.
New Cities, New Spells
Due to overwhelming demand, the tour has added stops in several major markets, including Toronto, Buffalo, Portland (Maine), Boston, Red Bank, Wilmington, Tampa, Fort Lauderdale, Dallas, Phoenix, and Anaheim. These new dates join a lineup of already announced shows in New York, San Francisco, Seattle, and Chicago, among others.
In addition to the expanded route, the original Los Angeles performance, initially scheduled for October 6, has been moved to October 26 at The Novo, officially closing out the tour.

A True Theatrical Experience
This isn’t your average drag show. According to Minj, the production blends musical theatre, drag artistry, and comedy in a way that’s both nostalgic and innovative.
“We are incredibly excited to bring Hokus Pokus Live! to audiences everywhere,” Minj said in a statement. “This tour brings together an extraordinary lineup of talent, each a master of their craft. It’s more than just a drag show; it’s a magical theatrical experience that will leave audiences spellbound.”
While this is the third tour of Hokus Pokus Live!, each version offers something new. Fans of the original film will find familiar story elements lovingly reimagined, while newcomers will be wowed by the originality and heart infused throughout the performance.
