Bowen Yang and Matt Rogers are officially bringing the camp, comedy and cultural chaos back to Bravo in 2026. The network confirmed that “The Las Culturistas Culture Awards” will return for a new televised edition, marking the second consecutive year the show will air on Bravo and Peacock and the fifth year of the awards overall.
The announcement arrived amid a flurry of news out of BravoCon in Las Vegas, where the network unveiled updates across its reality portfolio. For fans of queer pop culture, comedy, and Bravo’s signature flair, the return of the Culture Awards signals another year of the irreverent, high-energy spectacle created by Yang and Rogers, who also co-host the popular “Las Culturistas” podcast.
In a statement, the duo celebrated the show’s renewal with the distinctive humor that has helped build their dedicated following. “We are beside ourselves with joy, excitement and more that The Culture Awards will be back on Bravo and Peacock in 2026!” Yang and Rogers said. “This is officially a front runner in the category of Best Decision Ever Made, though it faces stiff competition from ‘Meryl Streep decides to try acting’ and ‘dumping that loser!!!’ We’ll see you soon! No Addison Rae song is safe.”
The Culture Awards debuted on Bravo and Peacock earlier this year, expanding the podcast’s long-running tradition of dissecting, elevating, and sometimes lovingly roasting the most meaningful and absurd cultural moments of the year. The televised special features more than 100 unique categories, ranging from earnest to outlandish, alongside live musical performances and surprise celebrity guests.
The ceremony has quickly become a standout platform for queer voices and entertainment, blending Broadway-level theatrics with the specific internet-coded language fans expect from the Las Culturistas universe. For Bravo, the show also represents a continued investment in programming that speaks directly to LGBTQ+ and millennial audiences.
“Bravo and Peacock are honored to be the home of culture’s biggest moment again,” said Frances Berwick, chairman of Bravo & Peacock Unscripted. “We are rooting for Matt and Bowen in the most triple-threat-entertainer-host-curator surprising category.”
The renewal comes during a milestone year for Bravo, which is celebrating the 20th anniversary of “The Real Housewives” franchise. New programming announcements at BravoCon included “The Real Housewives: Ultimate Road Trip,” updates on “The Real Housewives of Orange County” Season 20, and progress on casting for Season 16 of “The Real Housewives of New York City.”
Rogers and Yang’s star power continues to grow across television, film and podcasting. Yang remains a featured cast member on “Saturday Night Live,” where he has earned acclaim for bringing queer representation and razor-sharp impressions to a global audience. Rogers, known for his work as a comedian, actor and singer, has become a force in queer pop culture with television roles, a music career, and his fan-favorite holiday special “Have You Heard of Christmas?”
The Culture Awards are produced and distributed internationally by Lionsgate Alternative Television. Rogers and Yang serve as executive producers alongside Lauren LeMieux, Jonah McMichael and Olivia Gerke of 3 Arts Entertainment.
With fan enthusiasm high and Bravo leaning deeper into its relationship with the Las Culturistas brand, the 2026 ceremony is already anticipated to deliver bigger performances, bolder moments and even more lovingly chaotic tributes to the cultural landscape.
For Yang and Rogers, the next chapter of the Culture Awards appears to be shaping up exactly as fans would hope: glittering, gay, and gloriously unserious, in the most serious way.
