David Archuleta is talking about his size and teasing whether or not he’s a bottom in a new series of TikTok videos.
David Archuleta is in his TikTok era, and we are here for it.
It all started when the American Idol alum posted a cheeky video stitched with another user’s. The creator took out a tape measure and pointed to the three-inch mark. They said, “If this is you, you need to lower your motherf***ing tone when you talking to me.” The screen then shows Archuleta singing his hit song, “Crush,” into a microphone without any sound.
Fans went wild at what the singer could be insinuating with this response. However, Archuleta quickly made another video explaining how he thought he was making a “short-person joke.”
“I’m 5’5”, but it’s not about that, is it?”
Fans went back and forth in the comments on whether or not they believed Archuleta’s story. In another video, the artist explained he grew up “hardcore Mormon” and “it’s gonna take me a while to catch up with y’all!” We love you, David.
Then in his next breath, Archuleta openly discusses his preferred sexual position in bed. In response to a comment that said, “I was gonna say, being a full time bottom isn’t so bad,” he had a lot to say.
“I’m sure that you’re absolutely right for other people out there. I’m sure that they would definitely agree with that. Couldn’t relate.”
David Archuleta’s journey of self-acceptance and living openly as a queer individual has not been without its challenges. During a concert in Utah, Archuleta faced backlash for discussing his queer identity. Undeterred by criticism, he took to Instagram to affirm his commitment to living authentically, no matter the obstacles. This bold stance in the face of adversity is emblematic of Archuleta’s courage and determination to be true to himself and support others navigating similar paths.
By choosing to share his life, struggles, and joys, he’s encouraged others to embrace their truths. His approachable and relatable social media presence serves as a reminder that at the end of the day, celebrities are navigating the complexities of identity and acceptance just like the rest of us. This blend of vulnerability and visibility is what makes Archuleta’s social media influence so significant—it’s not just about breaking down barriers; it’s about building bridges.

Paul Mescal’s Enchanting Chemistry with Andrew Scott

Mescal, in a heartfelt interview with British Vogue, revealed how he “fell in love” with Scott during filming. Mescal describes it as “the perfect climate to fall in love with Andrew as a human being.” It’s hard not to get swept up in this behind-the-scenes romance!
Mescal’s Fascination with His Character, Harry
But it wasn’t just Scott who stole Mescal’s heart. The character of Harry, presented to him by creator Andrew Haigh, captivated Mescal from the start. He admired Harry’s boldness and the way he used it to mask his inner turmoil. A particular line in the film, “How come no one found me?” deeply moved Mescal, highlighting Harry’s vulnerability and struggle with being deserted due to his sexuality. This poignant moment consistently tugs at Mescal’s heartstrings.
A Tale of Love and Mystery: The Plot of ‘All of Us Strangers’
All of Us Strangers weaves a mysterious and emotional tale. It centers on Adam, played by Scott, a screenwriter who returns to his childhood home only to discover a shocking truth. His parents, portrayed by Claire Foy and Jamie Bell, appear unchanged despite being dead for over 30 years. Amidst this mystery, Adam falls for his intriguing neighbor, Harry, igniting a story of love and intrigue.
Andrew Scott’s Joy in His Identity
Scott also shared his profound happiness about being and playing gay. Speaking to Attitude, Scott calls it an “extraordinary privilege” and feels “lucky” to have this identity. His role as Adam in Andrew Haigh’s acclaimed drama allows him to explore deep emotions and connect with audiences on a personal level.
“When we read positive things or see representation on screen, when we see ourselves, we think: ‘Oh, well, we can forge a way in the world’. That’s why a movie like this is so important, because it’s incredibly compassionate and tender, but it also doesn’t erase the fact that it’s painful and it can be lonely being gay.
Critics and Audiences Alike Adore the Film
This fantasy-drama has enchanted Mescal and Scott and won over critics and audiences worldwide. With a stellar 95% approval rating on Rotten Tomatoes, the film has garnered universal praise. Its excellence is further recognized with six BAFTA nominations, spanning categories like Outstanding British Film and Director, and Golden Globes nods. Fans reportedly were injured at a Louis Tomlinson concert in Brisbane, Australia after wristbands were passed out to dedicated campers.
A Turbulent Night in Brisbane
The excitement for Louis Tomlinson’s “Faith In The Future World Tour” in Brisbane turned into turmoil when a clash for front-row spots led to injuries. On January 30, Tomlinson’s concert at Riverstage was the hot ticket, but things took a dangerous turn the night before. Fans eager for the best view lined up on January 29, planning to camp outside. However, weather warnings disrupted these plans, leading to unexpected chaos.
Wristband Woes
Riverstage promised to hand out numbered wristbands at 9:30 AM on the concert day for a 5:15 PM entry. But, as the Brisbane Times reports, things went awry when “golden” wristbands for priority entry were given to those who arrived a day early, breaking the initial rules. This move sparked a frenzy among the fans.
The situation escalated as 2000 new fans swarmed the venue for the 500 available blue-numbered wristbands. One fan, Samantha Maguire, reported that the crowd’s behavior turned violent upon learning about the “golden” wristbands. Madison Francis, another concertgoer, described the scene as dangerous, with people being shoved and injuries occurring. She recounted a particularly distressing moment where a mother lost her young daughters in the chaos.
As per a TikTok user, Courtney, the situation reached a boiling point at 2:45 PM on the concert day. A fan breached the gate, sparking a stampede among those waiting for their wristbands. This incident illustrates the sheer desperation and panic that gripped the crowd, as many were simply following the venue’s guidelines.
A Promise for Safer Future Events
In response to this harrowing event, Brisbane City Council, which oversees Riverstage, has vowed to enhance event management. A council spokesperson explained that their initial decision to distribute wristbands to early queuers was in response to severe weather concerns, aiming to protect young fans. However, they recognize the need for discussions with promoters to ensure safer and more orderly events in the future.
Kristen Stewart’s bold leap from A-list actress to director, navigating funding challenges for her groundbreaking project The Chronology of Water.
After two decades in the spotlight, Kristen Stewart is ready to rewrite her Hollywood narrative. The actress, known for her diverse roles, announced in 2018 her directorial debut, an adaptation of Lidia Yuknavitch’s memoir, The Chronology of Water. Despite funding challenges, Stewart is determined to make her mark behind the camera.
A Bold Stand
Stewart boldly declared her commitment to the project in a recent Variety cover story, stating, “I’m going to make this movie before I ever work for someone else. Yeah, I will quit the f*cking business. I won’t make a-f*cking-nother movie until I make this one. I will tell you that, for sure. I think that will get things going.”
Navigating the Hollywood Landscape
Stewart acknowledged the industry’s skepticism toward unproven projects and emphasized the challenges she faces in the current Hollywood climate. Despite two films premiering at the Sundance Film Festival – the intense lesbian thriller Love Lies Bleeding, and the thought-provoking sci-fi romance Love Me – and an upcoming role in the road trip comedy Sacramento, Stewart plans to take a hiatus to focus on her directorial venture.
Expressing her vision for the film, Stewart believes there’s an untapped female language waiting to be explored. She aims to translate the stream-of-consciousness prose from Yuknavitch’s memoir into a screenplay. Stewart explained, “It’s not about the plot. It’s about someone self-Heimliching and contextualizing why that person has swallowed their own voice their whole life.”
The Hollywood Hurdle
Stewart, facing skepticism from investors due to her lack of directorial experience, remains undeterred. She counters the doubt, asserting, “They’re like, ‘I don’t know if she’s right.’ I’m like, ‘Well, I am! I’ve done this forever.'” Stewart draws confidence from her extensive two-thirds-of-her-life involvement in the film industry.
An Exciting Journey Ahead
Before heading to the Sundance Film Festival, Stewart expressed eagerness to connect with fellow filmmakers grappling with similar challenges. Excited about the potential of her upcoming project, she shared, “I feel like I could walk through a wall right now because I just scouted this movie, and I saw places, and people, and faces, and locations that opened themselves up to me.”
Conclusion: Embracing the Uncharted
Kristen Stewart’s journey reflects a Hollywood maverick determined to break free from the norms. As she takes charge of her directorial debut, the actress-turned-director remains unapologetically committed to forging her own path, eager to make waves and reshape the cinematic landscape. Watch out, Hollywood – Kristen Stewart is ready to redefine the rules.

That’s right! The certified “Daddy” was considered for a role in one of our favorite queer series to date!
The Trailblazing Cast of ‘Looking’
A decade ago, HBO’s Looking turned the tide in queer television. Starring openly gay actors Jonathan Groff, Murray Bartlett, and Russell Tovey, this series brought a refreshing authenticity to our screens. Set in San Francisco, it followed three gay friends’ lives with heartfelt honesty.
Although it ended after just two seasons, Looking left a lasting impression. It pioneered LGBTQ+ representation and explored its characters’ lives deeply and sincerely.
Behind the Scenes: Casting Twists and Turns
Imagine Looking with Pedro Pascal, the star with a magnetic screen presence, in one of the lead roles! Carmen Cuba, the show’s casting director, shared that this dream was almost a reality.
“Especially in TV, you meet a lot of people… Pedro Pascal was someone we met [for a role on Looking] and from that, I put him on Narcos,” she explained to GQ. “The thing with Pedro, it was like he was testing on a million things. So many of these things, as you know in casting, it’s just like scheduling. Does scheduling work? Does the group? Because in this, we were really casting a group.”
Then there’s Russell Tovey, who was initially considered for the role of Patrick but ended up portraying Kevin – a perfect example of the show’s creative fluidity in casting.
Looking was more than a show; it was a movement in queer media. It ventured beyond stereotypes, offering rich, relatable stories. This series set a new benchmark for queer storytelling, inspiring shows likePose andSchitt’s Creek. Its focus on genuine LGBTQ+ experiences resonated with audiences and widened the scope for diverse narratives in mainstream media.

Jennifer’s Body rises from the ashes: a thrilling sequel brews on the horizon of cult cinema fame!
From Flop to Phenomenon
In 2009, Jennifer’s Body hit the screens and stumbled. This horror-comedy, directed by Karyn Kusama and written by Diablo Cody, didn’t wow critics or rake in dollars. Yet, it transformed over time. It’s now a cult classic, celebrated for its queer and feminist themes. Why? Gen-Z re-discovered it! They saw it as more than a scary movie – it’s about female empowerment and friendship. This shift reflects our changing society, embracing diverse stories and challenging gender norms.
Diablo Cody, the brain behind Jennifer’s Body, said she dreams of a sequel. She’s even got a script that’s scarier and gorier than ever.
In an interview with Bloody Disgusting, Cody said she wants to dive deeper into the dark and twisted. But there’s a hitch – finding money and support. The original film didn’t do great in theaters, so convincing investors is tough. It’s an everyday struggle in the film world, especially when trying to revive cult classics.
“I just need to find… I need to partner with people who believe in it as much as I do, and that hasn’t really happened yet.” She added, “I need someone to believe in it who has a billion dollars.”
Fans Rally for More
What’s helped Jennifer’s Body stick around? Fans, for sure! They’ve used social media to spread the word about the movie’s powerful take on female relationships and power dynamics. In 2023, a charity table read brought even more attention. Fans keep pushing for more, showing how a movie’s impact can grow and change over time.
Megan Fox has also chimed in on the importance of the movie today. Speaking to The Washington Post, the actress said, “Jennifer’s Body is iconic, and I love that movie. This movie is art, but when it came out, nobody was saying that.”
Jennifer’s Body has come a long way. Once misunderstood, it’s now a symbol of queer and feminist cinema. This change has set the stage for a much-anticipated sequel. Diablo Cody is ready to go deeper, and fans are eager to follow. It’s more than just a horror sequel – it’s a chance to keep pushing the boundaries of gender and power discussions in movies. With fan support and new audiences drawn by its legacy, Jennifer’s Body might not just get its sequel but continue to shape bold, new stories.
Survival is challenging in the wild world of TV shows, and Wolf Pack on Paramount+ just couldn’t make the cut. Based on Edo van Belkom’s 2004 novel and led by Teen Wolf‘s creator, Jeff Davis, the show promised a thrilling twist on supernatural drama. With the star power of Sarah Michelle Gellar and cameos from Teen Wolf favorites, Wolf Pack had fans howling with excitement. But, like a lone wolf in rugged terrain, it struggled and was canceled after just one season.

The cancellation of Wolf Pack wasn’t just a snap decision. It faced a storm of challenges: delays, lukewarm reviews, and a long wait for a potential second season that left audiences drifting away. This is a sign of the times in the streaming jungle – if a show doesn’t capture a big, loyal crowd fast, it risks getting the axe.
Streaming Trends: Quick to Cancel
Wolf Pack isn’t the only show to face this fate. In today’s fast-paced streaming world, shows like Our Flag Means Death and Schmigadoon! also felt the pinch. This quick-to-cancel trend has viewers hesitant to dive into new series, wondering if they’ll even stick around.
With Sarah Michelle Gellar’s celebrated return, Wolf Pack held promise, especially for LGBTQ+ fans. Its cancellation is a blow not just because of the quick axing trend but also because of the ongoing struggle for LGBTQ+ stories in the spotlight.
The end of Wolf Pack leaves fans with a cliffhanger and questions about the future of streaming storytelling. But there’s a silver lining – shows can find new homes or come back, like Star Trek: Prodigy‘s leap from Paramount+ to Netflix. It’s a call to action for fans and the industry to champion diverse stories and voices.
