The courtroom door has officially swung back open. Hulu has renewed its high-profile legal drama All’s Fair for a second season, keeping its star-studded cast, including Kim Kardashian, Glenn Close, Niecy Nash-Betts, Naomi Watts, Sarah Paulson, and Teyana Taylor, on the case. Ryan Murphy Productions and Hulu confirmed the news on Nov. 24, announcing that production for Season 2 is scheduled to begin in spring 2026.
Glenn Close celebrated the renewal on Instagram with a playful warning: “Batten down the hatches, we’re coming BACK.” Safe to say, this legal team isn’t going quietly.
Hulu’s Breakout Hit
The renewal follows a strong performance after its Nov. 4 premiere. According to Deadline, the series drew 3.2 million global views in its first three days, marking Hulu Originals’ biggest scripted debut in three years. The show introduced audiences to a group of women who leave a male-dominated firm to launch their own high-powered divorce practice, and it didn’t take long for viewers to get hooked on the mix of courtroom showdowns, betrayal, and designer suits.
The show spotlights complicated relationships, both in and out of court. As the synopsis teases, the attorneys must juggle scandal, shifting loyalties, and emotional landmines. They aren’t just fighting for clients, they’re rewriting the rules of love, law, and loyalty.
Kardashian Steps Into the Courtroom
Kim Kardashian stars as Allura Grant, a sharp divorce attorney navigating high-stakes cases and equally high expectations. Despite some mixed reviews, the cast hasn’t shied away from engaging with critics. Kardashian even leaned into the feedback with a tongue-in-cheek Instagram caption calling it the “most critically acclaimed show of the year.”
On The Kardashians, she admitted that stepping into scripted television came with nerves. “These shows are never guaranteed to be a hit,” she said. “You put your heart and soul into something and hope it lands.”
Looks like it landed.
A Bond Beyond the Script
Ahead of the show’s release, the cast opened up about their surprising off-screen chemistry in an interview with People. Sarah Paulson described filming as “the best time,” while Niecy Nash-Betts said the experience offered a rare level of mutual support on a set.
“We’ve got feathers,” Nash-Betts joked. “We’ve been around the block a few times, and it’s refreshing to work with women who’ve lived some life.”
That authentic camaraderie may be part of the show’s appeal, beneath the courtroom glamour, there’s a story of friendship, ambition, and reinvention.
When to Watch
New episodes of All’s Fair stream every Tuesday at 12 a.m. PT/3 a.m. ET on Hulu through Dec. 23. While details on Season 2 are still under wraps, one thing’s clear: the ladies are not done changing the rules of engagement, in love or in law.
