Andy Cohen Claps Back at Trump Fans Ahead of AC2’s Philadelphia Show

Andy Cohen told one Trump supporter to "deal with your hair" after joking about a rally heckler. He and Anderson Cooper bring AC2 to Philly's Academy of Music Nov. 14.

Andy Cohen spent part of this week answering Trump supporters in his X replies, and one four-word comeback took off.

It began at a rally in Corinth, Mississippi, on Monday, Oct. 26. President Donald Trump was there to back Republican Sen. Cindy Hyde-Smith when a heckler yelled at him to “shove that ballroom up your fat a**,” USA Today reported.

“Go home!” Trump said, according to Roll Call’s rally transcript. “Go home, go home.” Trump also claimed, without offering evidence, that the heckler had been paid $250.

The ballroom is Trump’s White House construction project.

Andy Cohen’s ‘Deal With Your Hair’ Reply

Cohen quoted a version of the heckler’s line in a post on X. He said it was “SENDING ME” and asked, “is there merch?” The post had about 1.8 million views in a screenshot published by BuzzFeed on Oct. 28.

Then the replies came in.

One critic told Cohen the ballroom would be classy, something he’d never been known for, and that he should stick to his “trashy housewife shows.”

“Deal with your hair,” Cohen wrote back.

That reply had about 23,000 likes and 1.3 million views in BuzzFeed’s screenshot. Cohen answered other users, too. When one made a crude joke about him, he replied, “I know you know a lot about those.” When another user made a sexual joke at his expense, he wrote, “Only when your husband does it.”

AC2 Returns to the Academy of Music in Philadelphia Nov. 14

The back-and-forth came the same week Philadelphia’s 6abc aired an interview with Cohen, the Bravo host of “Watch What Happens Live,” about a show he’s bringing to the city with his longtime friend Anderson Cooper.

“AC2: An Intimate Evening With Anderson Cooper & Andy Cohen” comes to the Academy of Music on Saturday, Nov. 14, at 8 p.m., according to Ensemble Arts Philly. Cooper and Cohen interview each other, then take audience questions. VIP packages include a meet-and-greet and a photo.

“I’m so excited to come to Philadelphia,” Cohen told 6abc’s Alicia Vitarelli. “We love Philly, and the people are great, and I mean, y’all are wild, right? Lot of energy, lot of opinions, and never afraid to show it.”

He summed up the pairing this way: “He’s reality, and I’m escape from reality.”

The crowd is part of the act, he said. “There’s three people on stage, the two of us and the audience.”

The friendship goes back three decades. “Anderson and I were set up on a blind date over 30 years ago,” Cohen told 6abc. “We didn’t make it past the first phone call, but we wound up becoming great friends.”

He compared the stage show to the pair’s New Year’s Eve broadcasts on CNN. “We tell the stories that we could never get away with telling on television,” he said.

Cooper announced in February that he would leave “60 Minutes”. Cohen, meanwhile, shared in June how he met his boyfriend.

“It’s just a couple of hours of a Saturday night to just kiki with us and have fun,” Cohen said.

Tickets are on sale through Ensemble Arts Philly at 215-893-1999.
