The cast of the 2016 Broadway revival of “Falsettos” goes back onstage at Carnegie Hall on Monday, Nov. 2, for the second of its 10th anniversary reunion concerts.

It was supposed to happen once. The first concert, on Oct. 18, sold out in fewer than two hours, TheaterMania reported. Nov. 2 was added and sold out too. A third Carnegie Hall date is set for Feb. 8, 2027, and the company plays the London Palladium later that month.

Christian Borle is back as Marvin, with Stephanie J. Block as Trina and Andrew Rannells as Whizzer. Brandon Uranowitz plays Mendel, Tracie Thoms plays Dr. Charlotte and Betsy Wolfe plays Cordelia, TheaterMania’s announcement said. Anthony Rosenthal, the revival’s original Jason, makes a guest appearance. Matthew Eby sings Jason.

Ellenore Scott, an assistant choreographer on the 2016 production, directs. Vadim Feichtner returns as music director and conductor, with most of the original band.

Betsy Wolfe Produces the ‘Falsettos’ Reunion

Wolfe is also a producer. She, Colleen Cook and Cynthia Rose present the concerts through Table for Three Productions. Darren Bell Productions and QUBE Theatricals join for the London engagement.

Composer William Finn died in April 2025 at 73.

The ‘Falsettos’ Cast Looks Back on the Revival

“I am thrilled to have the chance to revisit this extraordinary show with this incredible cast,” Rannells said when the reunion was first announced in July, Playbill reported. “Being part of the 2016 revival remains one of the proudest moments of my career.”

Block pointed to the revival’s PBS broadcast. “One of the greatest gifts of filming Falsettos for PBS has been watching an entirely new generation fall in love with it,” she said.

Before the first concert, Rannells, Wolfe and Uranowitz sat for a Playbill video game called “How Well Do You Know Each Other?” The video, released Oct. 27, includes Rannells sharing that his mother once told him he should date Wolfe.

February Dates at Carnegie Hall and the London Palladium

The October concert and the Nov. 2 performance benefit the BroadwayEveryDay Foundation and Family Equality. Part of the proceeds from the Feb. 8 concert will go to the TDF Wendy Wasserstein Project, according to the concert’s official website.

“I always believed there was more life in this piece and hoped we might one day return to it together,” Wolfe said in an Oct. 8 statement. “Ten years later, it turns out there’s still more of this story for us to tell.”

“Falsettos” follows Marvin, who leaves his wife, Trina, for a man named Whizzer, from the late 1970s into the early years of the AIDS crisis. The revival, produced by Lincoln Center Theater, opened at the Walter Kerr Theatre on Oct. 27, 2016, and earned five Tony nominations. Its filmed version is streaming on BroadwayHD as of Oct. 15.
