‘Canada’s Drag Race’ Season 7 Premieres Nov. 19 With 12 Queens

Crave revealed the 12 queens of 'Canada's Drag Race' Season 7, premiering Nov. 19. Paolo Perfección is back, and the winner gets $100,000.

Crave named the 12 queens of “Canada’s Drag Race” Season 7 on Oct. 28 and set the premiere for Thursday, Nov. 19, at 9 p.m. ET.

The new season runs nine episodes, Bell Media said in a press release headlined “Beach, Please!” Eleven new queens and one returning queen will compete for the title of Canada’s Next Drag Superstar and a $100,000 cash prize. Viewers outside Canada don’t have to wait. Episodes launch the same night on World of Wonder’s streaming service WOW Presents Plus, in the U.S. and in 190 territories worldwide.

Paolo Perfección Gets a Second Shot After Season 6

Paolo Perfección, 26, is the returning queen. She’s from Montreal and Crave describes her as a Season 6 fan favorite. Crave’s release says she has “alluded to her pork chop exit causing a citywide power outage.” Her tagline is blunt. “When I said I was the universe, I meant that shit.”

Last fall, before Season 6 aired, she told CP24 she’d been sewing since she was 12 and thinks of herself mainly as a fashion designer. “You know what drag is? A big fat family,” she said.

The 11 New Queens, From St. John’s to Edmonton

Vancouver sends three. Batty Banks, 31, is an urban wildlife ecologist who has appeared on two episodes of CBC’s “The Nature of Things.” “I’m diving, I’m dipping, I’m uno reverse flipping on stages all over the place,” Batty says in the release. Kara Juku, 31, won Vancouver’s Next Drag Superstar in 2020 and is the drag daughter of past finalist Kendall Gender. Bliss, 25, grew up in Ottawa and designs her own looks.

Gravy is the youngest at 22. She’s from St. John’s, N.L. “This gravy is hot, salty, and stupid,” she says.

Carlotta Carlisle, 38, comes from Deer Lake, N.L., and performs five nights a week in Toronto. “Larger than life is just the right size!”

Toronto also has Guy Anabella, 34, a Sheridan College professor and powerlifter with Guyanese roots. “The spice is so nice, you’ll feel the heat twice!” Madee Lovegood, 30, wears a beard and is one of very few Assyrian drag artists anywhere, according to the release. Paris Matik, 24, lists Toronto and Mexico as her hometowns.

Moh Dafok, 36, moved to Montreal from São Paulo and speaks four languages. “I’m just a gorgeous Brazilian immigrant trying to find my Canadian husband!”

Pheromone Killz, 30, is a Métis construction foreman from Edmonton. “I work all day with the husbands and then go party with all the wives at night!”

Chiquita Mére, 31, is from Shediac, N.B. She helped start the drag scene in Moncton’s Acadian community and has published a book, “Des fleurs comme moi.”

Season 6 Winner Van Goth and the Judges Panel

The Season 7 release doesn’t name the judges. For Season 6, Brooke Lynn Hytes and Traci Melchor were the main judges, with Carson Kressley, Hollywood Jade and Sarain Fox rotating in, Crave announced in November 2025. That same release confirmed the Season 7 order.

Toronto’s Van Goth won Season 6, Bell Media confirmed in January.

Blue Ant Studios produces the series with World of Wonder, in association with Crave. Trevor Boris is the showrunner. The show has won 32 Canadian Screen Awards, according to Crave.
