“Heated Rivalry” stars Connor Storrie and Hudson Williams spent Halloween as the CEO and the beekeeper from “Bugonia.” Storrie posted the photos to Instagram on Saturday, Oct. 31.
Storrie went as Michelle Fuller, the pharmaceutical boss Emma Stone plays in Yorgos Lanthimos’ film. Williams was Teddy Gatz, Jesse Plemons’ conspiracy-obsessed beekeeper, who kidnaps her because he’s sure she’s an alien. Just Jared and The Express Tribune both picked up the post.
“Bugonia” earned four nominations at the 98th Academy Awards, including best actress for Stone, who was also one of its producers.
The two actors are shooting Season 2 of the Crave and HBO Max hockey romance right now, Just Jared reported.
“Hudson is my best friend, and I literally can’t fathom doing this without him,” Storrie told W magazine last December. “We quit our jobs within a day of each other. We booked this and flew out the same day.”
“This has been the highlight of my life, and meeting Hudson makes that 10 times sweeter,” he said.
Hudson Williams Talks Parasocial Fans on CBC’s ‘The Assembly’
Williams is a guest on Season 2 of “The Assembly,” the CBC series where autistic and neurodivergent adults interview celebrities.
In a preview clip Bustle wrote up Oct. 30, an interviewer asks him about parasocial relationships.
“Yeah, that’s super interesting to me. I didn’t quite realize the level it could go to, until the show,” Williams said. “They are living so vicariously through this fictional thing, and it’s realer to them than anything else they have in their life.”
Williams borrowed a line from series creator Jacob Tierney: “Shane and Ilya are for everyone. Hudson and Connor are for themselves.”
How much Storrie shares with the world is up to Storrie, Williams said, and it isn’t on fans to ask for more. “You kinda just gotta be like: Not my business,” he said.
François Arnaud Wears Kip Grady’s Straw+Berry Apron
François Arnaud plays Scott Hunter, captain of the New York Admirals. For Halloween, he went as Scott’s boyfriend, Kip Grady, the smoothie shop barista played by Robbie G.K.
Arnaud posted a shirtless bathroom mirror selfie to his Instagram Story wearing a Straw+Berry apron and a backward baseball cap, Just Jared reported.
“Don’t have @robgk’s abs so I got the apron,” he wrote on the Story.

On the Halloween episode of “Live with Kelly and Mark,” Kelly Ripa and Mark Consuelos came out in hockey gear as a tribute to Storrie and Williams, Entertainment Weekly reported Oct. 30. Ripa kept telling a puzzled Consuelos, “You’re looking good today!” Then she slapped him. Someone in the audience held up a sign that said “Hockey Sex.” Another read “Kiss! Kiss! Kiss!” The two leaned in close and pulled apart just before their lips met.
