The Sin City Classic Sports Festival Presented by Lexus, the world’s largest LGBTQ+ sporting event, announced that Grammy-winning singer, LGBTQ+ advocate, and ABC TV & Hulu co-star LeAnn Rimes will perform at this year’s Sin City Classic Concert. The show will take place January 18 at Brooklyn Bowl Las Vegas on the LINQ Promenade, right before the festival’s Closing Party.
The 2026 festival, hosted annually by the Greater Los Angeles Softball Association (GLASA), runs January 15-19 in Las Vegas, drawing thousands of athletes, allies, and fans from around the globe.
A Voice for the LGBTQ+ Community
“LeAnn Rimes has been a steadfast advocate for LGBTQ+ rights for decades,” said Dr. Jason Peplinski, Sin City Classic Co-Executive Director. “At a time when so many rights are under threat, her voice is more important than ever. We can’t wait for her to bring down the house at this year’s concert.”
Rimes’ commitment to the LGBTQ+ community has earned her accolades including the Human Rights Campaign’s Ally of Equality Award, the 2019 HOPE Award for Depression Advocacy, and the 2009 ACM Humanitarian Award.
Beyond music, Rimes continues to expand her platform with projects like CHANT: The Human & The Holy (2020), which topped iTunes’ New Age chart, and her mental health podcast Wholly Human, which has reached top rankings worldwide and was recognized by Good Housekeeping as one of the best mental health podcasts.
What to Expect at the Sin City Classic
The festival kicks off on Martin Luther King Jr. holiday weekend with the Opening Night Registration Party at the Flamingo Las Vegas. Competitions and nightly social events unfold across the city, culminating in the Sin City Classic Concert and Closing Party.
GLASA founded the Sin City Classic in 2008 as a safe, competitive softball tournament for LGBTQ+ athletes. Over 17 years, the festival has grown to 24 sports and approximately 10,000 participants, making it the largest LGBTQ+ sports gathering in the world.
This year’s sports lineup includes basketball, billiards, bowling, bridge, cheerleading, cornhole, curling, dodgeball, flag football, golf, indoor rowing, kickball, martial arts, pickleball, rodeo, soccer, softball, swimming, tennis, ultimate frisbee, indoor and sand volleyball, and wrestling & grappling.
