Pop powerhouse and queer icon Reneé Rapp is making movie magic, even while recovering from a tough week.

The Mean Girls and Snow Angel star just dropped her latest single, “Lucky,” an original track for Lionsgate’s upcoming heist film Now You See Me: Now You Don’t. Out now via Interscope Records, the cinematic pop anthem will play over the movie’s end credits when it hits theaters on November 14, 2025.

Rapp’s “Lucky” blends hypnotic synths, driving percussion, and her signature powerhouse vocals into a sleek, confident track that feels right at home in a film full of illusion and misdirection. She teases the high-wire energy of the Now You See Me universe with lyrics like:

“I go fast, baby, I go hard

But don’t leave a scratch when I crash my car

Steppin’ on stars on the boulevard

I find it kinda funny, I get so la-la-lucky.”

The song arrives amid a brief pause in Rapp’s Bite Me Tour. The singer was recently forced to postpone her final U.S. shows after falling ill. “In my career I have never had to do this before — but I have to reschedule tonight and tomorrow’s shows,” Rapp, 25, told fans via Instagram Stories on Oct. 26. “I’ve been pushing through an illness, but my body has finally given out. My doctors have told me that it isn’t safe to perform due to the need for vocal rest and physical recovery.”

Even while prioritizing her health, Rapp continues to shine, expanding her ever-growing film-music crossover after her Mean Girls soundtrack duet “Not My Fault” with Megan Thee Stallion.

Directed by Ruben Fleischer (Venom, Uncharted), Now You See Me: Now You Don’t reunites Jesse Eisenberg, Woody Harrelson, Dave Franco, and Isla Fisher as the Four Horsemen, alongside newcomers Justice Smith, Dominic Sessa, and Barbie breakout Ariana Greenblatt. Together, they pull off a global illusion to expose Rosamund Pike’s Veronika Vanderberg, a diamond heiress with dark ties to power.

Between the star-studded cast, dazzling illusions, and Rapp’s haunting “Lucky,” this might be the franchise’s flashiest trick yet.

Now You See Me: Now You Don’t hits theaters November 14, 2025. Stream “Lucky” now on all platforms.
