Robert Irwin had his own Wicked fairytale moment this week, thanks to a little magic from Jonathan Bailey.

The 21-year-old wildlife conservationist and Dancing With the Stars contestant was surprised during rehearsal with a huge bouquet of flowers from the Wicked star himself. The thoughtful delivery came after Irwin’s standout jazz routine inspired by the hit musical.

In the clip Irwin shared on social media, his dance partner Whitney Carson presents him with a wonderful flower arrangement during their rehearsals for Halloween week.

“Oh my goodness they’re gorgeous!” he gushes. “Wait, what?”

“Do you have a secret admirer I don’t know about,” Carson teases.

“It’s from Jonathan Bailey!” he shouted, literally jumping up and down as Carson gasped beside him. The note read, “You are the shiz, Robert. You’ve done all the Fiyeros proud. Cheering you on from afar. Big love, JB.”

Irwin called it “the coolest surprise ever,” while fans couldn’t get enough of the wholesome exchange. One commented, “Honestly, same reaction if Jonathan Bailey sent me flowers.” If you’re not giggling and kicking you’re feet, you’re lying.

It turns out Irwin is a longtime Wicked fan who even rented out a theater for his 21st birthday to watch the movie. So it’s safe to say this moment was a dream come true. “It was an honor to play Fiyero for the night!” he wrote in the caption.

During the Oct. 21 episode, Irwin took on Bailey’s role of Prince Fiyero, performing to “Dancing Through Life” with partner Witney Carson. The dance earned him glowing reviews and a score of 36 out of 40. The dance earned him a spot in next week’s episode, and in our hearts for good.
