RuPaul’s Drag Race star Bosco just turned her Seattle stage into the most romantic venue of the year. The 32-year-old performer said yes to her longtime partner, Blake, after he surprised her with a heartfelt proposal during her GrindHaus show at The Crocodile on Oct. 18.
The audience erupted as the words “Will you marry me?” appeared on the screen behind them. Blake got down on one knee, and Bosco immediately accepted, sharing a kiss to a roar of applause.
A Proposal Worthy of a Queen
Bosco later shared a carousel of photos from the night on Instagram, including one where she proudly showed off her new ring while pouring champagne. “Love you forever, Blake,” she captioned the post.
Blake also marked the moment online, writing, “Get to spend forever with my best friend.”
The couple’s love story began six years ago in a gay bar, fittingly, a setting both intimate and symbolic for two performers whose lives are steeped in community and visibility. During the proposal, Blake reflected on their journey together.

“Our story started six years ago at a queer bar, and it was me being a timid boy on the side of the stage,” he told the crowd as photos of their relationship played behind them. “The following years brought a lot: college, the pandemic, my mom passing, and reality TV. But through it all, I got the best partner I could ever ask for.”
Fellow Queens and Friends Celebrate
Bosco’s Drag Race sisters wasted no time sending love in the comments. Daya Betty wrote, “I’m so happy for you two,” while Sonique Love, “Congratulations.” Bosco’s fellow drag sister Lady Camden chimed in with, “AAHHH 😭 I LOVE YOU TWO!!!!.”
Videos shared on social media captured the emotional moment, with the crowd cheering as Bosco’s eyes welled with tears before she stood and accepted the proposal.
From Drag Race to Real Love
Bosco gained national attention as a finalist on RuPaul’s Drag Race Season 14 and later returned for All Stars 10. Beyond her quick wit and edgy style, she became a fan favorite for her honesty and openness about her gender identity.
In 2022, she came out publicly as a transgender woman, writing on social media, “My pronouns out of drag are she/they. I’m the happiest I’ve ever been.” Bosco shared that she began hormone replacement therapy after filming Drag Race and was taking steps toward her medical transition.
Her story, of authenticity, resilience, and now, love, has resonated deeply with fans who’ve followed her evolution both onstage and off.
As for what’s next? Between wedding planning, live shows, and her ever-growing fanbase, it seems Bosco’s got plenty to celebrate, and she’s doing it her way, with sequins, champagne, and a ring that shines as bright as her future.
