Connor Storrie keeps giving us reasons to look at him, and frankly, nobody is asking him to stop.
Anthony Vaccarello just dropped the first video campaign for Saint Laurent’s Fall/Winter 2026 season. Director Talia Chetrit shot the clip, which captures a star-studded cast moving to Milli Vanilli’s “I’m Gonna Miss You”. Positioned front and center is Storrie himself, showing off a fresh set of dark brunette curls that feel like a direct contrast to his usual golden blonde styling.
The short film marks another major milestone for the breakout star, who officially stepped into an ambassador role for the French fashion house earlier this year.
Dancing in the Shadows With Rosé
The teaser keeps things tight and moody. Vaccarello released a single snippet that relies purely on lighting, movement, and celebrity visual impact. It immediately draws you in and hooks you (I mean, if Connor Storrie’s curls don’t stop you in your tracks, I don’t know what will).
Storrie trades sharp stare-downs with BLACKPINK’s Rosé, a longtime house face who practically owns the Saint Laurent aesthetic. Supermodel Liu Wen also makes a swift appearance. Yet even among seasoned fashion heavyweights, Storrie manages to pull the room’s focus. Dressed in sharp dark tailoring paired with thick-framed sunglasses, he looks less like the chicest leading man who could go from the movie screen straight to a synth-pop set.
Fans online immediately noticed that the shoot went down right after the Met Gala back in May, where Storrie made his event debut wearing custom Vaccarello tailoring complete with a flowing neck-scarf and antique brooches.
From On-Ice Rivals to Front-Row Royalty
Storrie’s jump from wearing heavy hockey gear as Ilya Rozanov in Heated Rivalry to fronting international fashion houses happened remarkably fast.
Over the last few months, he sat front row at Paris Fashion Week next to icons like Madonna and Charli xcx. He hosted Saturday Night Live, landed an Emmy nomination, and signed on as an ambassador for Tiffany & Co. Alongside his upcoming sci-fi feature April X, his schedule looks completely booked through next year.
His fans have even more reason to celebrate this month. Production on Season 2 of Heated Rivalry is officially underway, with principal photography having kicked off across Toronto, Montreal, and Ottawa. The new season adapts Rachel Reid’s 2022 novel The Long Game (along with elements of Role Model), catching up with Ilya and Shane (Hudson Williams) years after Season 1 as they navigate career pressure and their secret romance. Filming will wrap up later this winter, aiming for an expected release window of Spring 2027.
Vaccarello clearly understands what he has in the rising star. Storrie’s moody intensity is the absolute perfect vessel for YSL to showcase their edgy, evergreen style. The brand hasn’t dropped the full print lookbook or secondary footage yet, but this brief video confirms Storrie is officially Vaccarello’s favorite new muse (as well as the rest of the worlds!).
