The curtain call isn’t the end of the night anymore. Drag Experiences has unveiled Broadway After Dark: The Curtain Call Crawl, a nightlife tour designed to keep the Broadway glow alive long after the stage lights dim.
For $69 a ticket, theatergoers are paired with a drag queen host who greets them outside their Broadway theater and leads the group through Times Square and Hell’s Kitchen. Along the way, guests enjoy a welcome cocktail, insider Broadway gossip, photo ops, and VIP access to a drag show, complete with meet-and-greets.
“It’s like a Broadway encore with sequins and sass,” said Justin Dorsen, founder of Drag Experiences. “Theater and drag share the same DNA: spectacle, storytelling, and unapologetic flair. This tour keeps that spirit going well into the night.”
What to Expect on the Crawl
Participants can expect more than just sightseeing. The drag host guides the group from the neon glow of Times Square into one of the city’s most iconic LGBTQ+ neighborhoods. Between bars, stories, and performances, the crawl offers a mix of theater culture and New York nightlife energy.
The experience is marketed as a fit for tourists, theater buffs, birthday groups, bachelorette parties, even freshly single New Yorkers looking for a rebound night out.
A Company Built on Celebration
Drag Experiences began in 2018 with a Hell’s Kitchen drag bar crawl known as NY Fabulous Drag Night Out. What started as a grassroots nightlife adventure has since evolved into one of Airbnb’s top-rated experiences, with over 500 five-star reviews.
Now operating in both New York and Los Angeles, the company offers drag makeovers, bar crawls, and private group events. Its mission: create joy-filled spaces rooted in inclusivity and self-expression.
Beyond tours, Drag Experiences has collaborated with major names like Universal Music Group’s Doechii and represented queer nightlife onstage at the International LGBTQ+ Travel Association conference. The company is also one of New York’s largest contractors of drag talent, ensuring artists are spotlighted as central to the city’s cultural fabric.
Keeping the Spotlight On
With Broadway After Dark, Drag Experiences is inviting theater lovers to end their night not with applause, but with cocktails and drag. “It’s not just about watching a show,” Dorsen said. “It’s about stepping into one.”
The Curtain Call Crawl promises sequins, laughter, and the kind of Broadway magic that lingers long after the final bow.
