The Owens women are returning, the midnight margaritas are practically pouring and, yes, Lee Pace has officially joined the coven. Kinda.
We have a magical new look at Practical Magic 2, with photos and behind-the-scenes moments from the long-awaited sequel to the beloved 1998 film starring Sandra Bullock and Nicole Kidman.
The images offer a glimpse at the magic behind the movie, including candid moments between the cast, familiar faces slipping back into character, and the spellbinding sets bringing the Owens family’s world back to life nearly three decades later.
The Owens Sisters Are Back
Bullock and Kidman reprise their roles as sisters Sally and Gillian Owens, two witches born into a family plagued by a centuries-old curse. The original film followed the pair as they tried to survive love, loss, resurrection, and one particularly dangerous ex-boyfriend, with a little help from their eccentric aunts.
Stockard Channing and Dianne Wiest are also returning as Aunt Franny and Aunt Jet, ensuring the Owens family reunion is complete.
This time, the story expands to include a new generation of witches. Joey King and Game of Thrones star Maisie Williams have joined the cast alongside Xolo Maridueña and Solly McLeod.
Lee Pace Is Joining the Magic
As if the return of the Owens women were not exciting enough, Lee Pace is also stepping into the world of Practical Magic.
The Pushing Daisies and Foundation actor plays a mysterious figure whose arrival sends Sally and Gillian on a new quest. His exact connection to the Owens family remains part of the mystery, but the combination of Pace, witches and romantic fantasy already feels like a spell designed specifically for the internet.
Susanne Bier directs the sequel, with a screenplay by Akiva Goldsman and Georgia Pritchett. Bullock and Kidman also serve as producers alongside Denise Di Novi.

The new images and clips take fans behind the scenes with Bullock, Kidman and the rest of the cast as they bring the magical world of the Owens family back to life.
